In villages of Madurai West Block JKMF focuses on organizing the scattered Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) as a group. This programme creates awareness on the available Government welfare schemes, Income generating sources, and Skill development training and rehabilitation services. The rural PWDs are formed as Special SHG and linked to bank for savings. This will help them to reach next level of running an Income Generation Project by themselves. JKMF has reached nearly 180 PWDs in 20 villages of Madurai West block.
